The company

An operating company.
Not another vendor.

Dion takes over the administrative engine of a dental practice or group — front office workload, billing, collections, recall, bookkeeping, payroll, growth — and is accountable for the P&L result. Technology is our infrastructure. It is not the product.

Why an operating company

Software is fragmented and commoditized. Accountability isn’t.

Every vendor now claims AI. Buying more of them deepens the exact problem they claim to solve: a dozen tools, each seeing a sliver of your funnel, none accountable for an outcome. Dion’s answer is structural — one operating function that runs the administrative work end-to-end on one data spine, replacing most of the vendor stack and reading the rest in place. When the result is ours to deliver, the tools stop being your problem.

A layer can’t be fired for a bad month. An operator can. That accountability is the difference between Dion and every “unified platform.”

The split

We run the operations. You keep the practice.

Dion runs

The administrative engine: reception queues, scheduling and recall workload, claims and collections, bookkeeping and the close, payroll administration, procurement, reporting, and growth — as one accountable operating function.

You keep

Ownership, clinical, and capital allocation. Not an acquisition. Not a roll-up. Clinical work stays human — our pricing is anchored to overhead functions, which means we structurally cannot bill for replacing a clinician.

The infrastructure

One spine. A portfolio of products we own.

The operating work runs on products Dion builds and owns — each one strong on its own, connected by one event spine and one data model, so every function sees the same truth. Where you already run a system that works, we read it in place instead of forcing a migration. The privacy line is enforced in the architecture: the spine carries references, codes, and amounts — never clinical content.

Products keep their own names and their own strengths — Dion is the operating company that runs them as one function for your group.

Where this comes from

Built inside a real practice. Not a pitch deck.

Dion grew out of Dion Health — an integrated dental, medical, and cosmetic practice in San Francisco founded by a practicing clinician. The functions we run and the infrastructure we run them on were built to operate our own practice first: the billing queues, the recall lists, the marketing spend, the month-end close. We felt every one of these problems before we productized the answer — and we still run our own practice on the same stack we bring to yours.

Start with your numbers.

Send us your P&L — or just your email. We build the analysis from your actual overhead, walk you through exactly what Dion would run, and what it changes. No pitch deck first.
